Learn how to protect intellectual property

Protecting intellectual property is critically important in the information age especially when it comes to protecting brand names, creative content, inventions and secret processes and formulae. This webinar will discuss and differentiate the various forms of intellectual property such as trademarks, copyrights, patents and trade secrets. We will also look at how each is protected and what each form actually protects -- and doesn’t. Our facilitator for this workshop is Fran Zollers who is a professor emerita of law and public policy in the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. She has also taught as a visiting professor at the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and was a visiting scholar at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Her teaching areas include intellectual property, technology law, entrepreneurship law and business organizations.
